Sophie is well known for being one of our most enthusiastic instructors and her dedication to Friskis is second to none. So we were all very curious to hear her take on her favourite friskis value: EXERCISE SHOULD ALLOW THE WHOLE PERSON TO DEVELOP:
“You have to take risks, be yourself and trust your gut feelings. You also have to think of your own well-being. It’s easier to be there for others if you take care of yourself and make sure you feel good.”
“Furthermore, Music and movement release emotions that help us build confidence in our bodies and our selves. Exercise should be a meaningful and positive experience we will want to have again and again. This is what Friskis feels to me… the more I do it… the more I enjoy it!”
Now that you’ve heard her thoughts, how about we take a moment to get to better know our instructor. Sophie started as a simple participant when she arrived in Belgium from her native France in 2009 and became a host a semester later for Mònica’s wonderful dance sessions. In 2011 then she became a jympa instructor. She enjoys the cosmopolitan aura, the nice and fun atmosphere, the sporty challenge and the possibility to “youhou” while working out together with many other things that would take too long to enumerate.
