Join Friskis at Stadkriebels on Sunday, May 7, 2023

Friskis is participating at Stadskriebels, a big sportive event organized by VGC at Tour & Taxis Park

Stadskriebels is the sports festival in Brussels where you get to discover a mix of sports, animation, performance, dance, music, food... and so much more! Of course the main aim of Stadskriebels is to get as many Brussels sports clubs together as possible and offer a variety of sporty activities to a large audience. 

Stadskriebels is completely free and open to everybody to discover. You get to try out new sports, discover a variety of clubs... It is however best to register beforehand, if you would want to participate in a session, but you can still join on the day of as well. 

Friskis will be participating this year with a bunch of activities, given by our very own and most lovely indoor and outdoor instructors, Tarja and Martin, who will give a taste of 2 different types of Friskis sessions: 

Running Cross, by Martin Karlsson: 
1 full session of 60' - 1pm
3 mini sessions of 20' - 11am, 11.40am & 12.20pm
A running session combined with HIIT training, that's Running Cross. You alternate between a bit of running and all kinds of HIIT exercises, using your own body weight. The emphasis is on strength and aerobic challenge. Running Cross is an all-in-one session where you work on both your fitness and strength in a group.

Multifys, by Tarja Kallio:
2 sessions of 30': 2pm & 3pm
Multifys is an all-round, accessible and no frills interval training session on fun music with lots of variation and a focus on strength, stability and cardio. In Multifys, 3 circuits of short but intensive exercises alternate with a short recovery period each time. After each circuit, we start all over again. The short but intensive exercises get the heart working and help improve your stamina. Multifys is challenging, but it pays off! After the session, you will feel the adrenaline racing through your body.
