Run with Music as long as you cannot run with Friskis
11 March 2021
Have you ever tried out running with MUSIC? It is not as much fun and sweat as running with Friskis, but it still gives you an extra push and good vibes.
A group of your instructors - Daniela, Fleur, Magda, Przemek, Tarja and Viva - have put their favourite running songs together to give a good pace for your running. This independently if you are an experienced runner with a good steady tempo or a runner with a softer approach. You just choose the music beat which fits you and songs you like - easy, right!
Our Spotify list has an increasing beat; so the first songs are slowlier, then a bigger amount of songs with 155-170 beats per minute (BPM), while the last ones have around 200 BPMs. Styles vary from rock to latino music.
Normally you should first run in a softer tempo around 10 minutes, to warm up your muscles and joints, this is normally done with a beat not more than 165 BPM. After you can continue with the same kind of beat, you can also increase gradually the speed or you can for example alternate with slower and faster beats to do intervals. You decide what you like on any given day, different song will give you a different feeling too. Enjoy!
We hope to see you back on running track soon, but until that is allowed, music will help keeping us all motivated
