Enjoy over 35 sessions a week with Friskis, and celebrate our 30th anniversary

February is finally here and with it begins our new F&S spring semester! From the 1st of February onwards you can join us to enjoy over 35 sessions a week consisting of Indoor, Outdoor and Virtual sessions. Our instructors have prepared all kinds of sessions for you to celebrate our 30th anniversary so there's plenty to be grateful for. This semester we'll also continue to offer additional Spinning sessions and Barbell sessions at our Jims Jourdan venue and our Family sessions for 2-6 y o are finally back so you can enjoy Friskis with even your youngest family members.
Our in-person indoor sessions will include Coreflex, Basic/Core/Medium Pulse, Dance Explode, Core, Station 75, Yoga, Modus, Basic, Medium, and Intensive Jympa) in our various indoor venues. This semester we're also expanding our offer at Jims Jourdan venue since we'll be offering Spinning Distance And Spinning Intervals sessions as well as Barebell 60 and Barebell Interval 75. And if you're looking for a special session you can participate with your children (aged 2-6) you can always you can try out our Family sessions (2-6 yy) every Saturday morning at 10 AM, in our Etterbeek venue.
And we'll be adding even more sessions during the course of the semester so watch this space for more exciting announcements.
We will also be offering multiple in-person Outdoor sessions a week (including Running Quality, Running Cross, Start to Run, Running Distance and Nordic Walking) in multiple locations in Brussels (like Parc du Cinquantennaire, Park Woluwe and Sonian Forest). Please note that the meeting point for our Parc du Cinquantennaire sessions has moved to the Merode Entrance of the park (and is no longer under the arch). Also please note that some of our Running Quality sessions and Star to Run sessions will be moving to Woluwe Parc from 1st of April.
On top of that, we will continue to offer Lisa and Fleur will continue to offer live Yoga and Medium Jympa virtual sessions every Monday and Wednesday so there's something for everyone!

But that's not all there's plenty more to look forward to in February:
- Additional Spin Distance sessions and Spin Licensing session for our new instructor: Wim - Wednesday 2 February at 8 pm at Jims BXL Jourdan venue - One of our favorite new instructors, Wim will be performing his Spin licensing session at the Jims on Wednesday 2 February 8 PM. You don't want to miss it and then don't forget to join him every Wednesday at 8 PM
- Family sessions for 2-6y are back - Saturdays 10 AM - By popular demand the Family sessions for 2-6y will be returning on Saturday 12th February. So every Saturday at 10 AM, in our Etterbeek venue (sport center De Maalbeek) you can enjoy our fun stations exercises to do in duo parents-kid with your younger kids (2 year old - 6 year old) and our wonderful instructors Alice and our newest instructor Priscille.
In accordance with the current regulations of the Brussels-Capital Region the Covid Safe Ticket will be asked for upon entrance to all our Brussels indoor venues for all persons over 16 years old. The rule will be in place until further notice. This will apply to all of our indoor sessions and anyone (aged 16 years or older) must present a valid Covid Safe Ticket in the form of a QR code in order to participate to a session and a valid ID. Please note that the check of the Covid Safe Ticket will be done at the reception desk of the venue or by the Friskis host.
Also in order to guarantee that social distancing guidelines, mandated by the Belgian authorities, are respected, we will be limiting the maximum number of participants to each session. To that end, we kindly request that all participants register online for each session in our membership portal.
If you're not a member, you can still join us since your first Friskis session is always free. You just need to register for a "guest pass" on the website. The guest pass will give you access to a free session. It can be used once per user. Even with a guest pass, you still need to register for the session that you plan on attending.
Please note that registration is now mandatory for all sessions (even for the free sessions) so please ensure that you register before you come to the session. You can book a session up to 30 minutes before the start of the session (both for our in-person and our online sessions). Our lovely hosts will check the registration list before the session begins and if you were unable to register they can do it for you on the spot.
Also please ensure that you respect of the obligatory coronavirus measures (such as maintaining 1m50 physical security distance between participants and wearing a mask before and after the session).
It is very important for us to have an accurate count of the participants so that we can organize ourselves accordingly, so, if you have registered for a session and then, for whatever reason, you cannot attend we kindly ask you to de-register in the portal or via the app as soon as possible, so as to allow someone else on the waiting list to register.
