10 October 2021
Following the decision by the authorities of the Brussels-Capital Region which was approved by the Brussels parliament on 8th October, please be aware that from Friday 15th October 2021 the Covid Safe Ticket will be asked for upon entrance to all our Brussels indoor venues for all persons over 16 years old. The rule will be in place until 15 January 2022.
This will apply to all of our indoor sessions and anyone aged 16 years or older must present a valid Covid Safe Ticket in the form of a QR code in order to participate to a session. Please note that the check of the Covid Safe Ticket will be done at the reception desk of the venue or by the Friskis host. Note: You might also be asked to present an identity document.
Since we need to scan each participant before they can access the session, we are kindly asking participants to please arrive well in advance of classes so the sessions can begin on time.
The CST is a document which attests to the holder’s Covid health. It is available to those who have been vaccinated, or have recovered from an infection. Alternatives are available for short-term use by those who have recently had a negative PCR test (48h) or antigen test (24h).
You can get your Covid Safe Ticket by installing the CovidSafeBE app on your smartphone from the website www.covidsafe.be. Fill in your details and you have the CST on you at all times. Alternatively it can be obtained by post by calling 02 214 19 19.
Once you've downloaded and setup the app with your details, simply open the app and tap on the area that shows which vaccine they've had. If it's one of the two dose vaccines, you will have to click on the "2/2" vaccine in order to prove that you have had the second vaccination. Doing this, a big QR code will show on your screen that will be scanned by the Friskis host or by someone at a reception desk.
If you have further questions on how to use the app you can check out the guide on how to use the Covid Safe Ticket. If you prefer you can also present a a paper version of the digital certificate as long as the QR code is clearly visible.
In order to guarantee that social distancing guidelines, mandated by the Belgian authorities, are respected, we will be limiting the maximum number of participants to each session. To that end, we kindly request that all participants register online for each session in our membership portal.
If you're not a member, you can still join us since your first Friskis session is always free. You just need to register for a "guest pass" on the website. The guest pass will give you access to a free session. It can be used once per user. Even with a guest pass, you still need to register for the session that you plan on attending.
Please note that registration is mandatory for all sessions so please ensure that you register before you come to the session. You can book a session up to 15 minutes before the start of the session (both for our in-person and our online sessions). Our lovely hosts will check the registration list before the session begins.
Also please ensure that you respect of the obligatory coronavirus measures (such as maintaining 1m50 physical security distance between participants and wearing a mask before and after the session.
Please note that since the maximum number of participants to each in-person session is limited due to Covid restrictions, we ask all of our members that if you have registered for a session and then, for whatever reason, you cannot attend then please cancel your reservation through the app or through the website portal so that someone else in the waiting list can participate instead.
We thank you for your patience and cooperation in helping us ensure that all of our indoor sessions are safe and fun place for all our participants to enjoy.
