Join the Friskis Board and volunteer to help
We're looking for candidates to join the board

Do you like motivating people? Would you like to learn more about Friskis and help with the organisation? If your answer is YES, then we need YOU!
As you may know, Friskis & Svettis is a volunteer-run organisation with a mission to promote
1. Physical activity to as many people as possible in a fun and relaxed way,
2. Exercise to maintain good health,
3. A feeling of well-being for all our members.
One of the key groups in making all this happen is the board. Their role is to ensure that the club is run in accordance with the principles of the Swedish mother organisation and to take responsibility for the overall strategy, while keeping in touch with the implementing teams. The Board is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), often with a rotation of some members, and currently consists of 4 volunteers: Jeroen, Caroline, Sibylle and Calle. The next AGM will take place in April 2024, so we are now looking for new candidates for the board!
The Elections Committee's job is to find the best possible future Board. But to do that we need your help: We want YOU to be a CANDIDATE FOR THE BOARD! This is your chance to rise up and shine by having a big say in how our club is run. So don't miss this opportunity to help shape the future of our club. Let's work together to make our club SHINE and keep all the volunteers motivated to do their best for the members.
You are:
Motivated, willing and able to give some of your time: 1 meeting/month in the Board and some other tasks in between, 2-5 hours/week of your time to help Friskis&Svettis continue its mission.
Ready to adopt an empowering management style with the other Friskis teams working hand in hand with the Board: i.e. live the Friskis values.
Committed to help increase our membership.
A member of the club for at least 2 years.
Experience in similar positions would be an advantage.
